Consecration to Jesus Through Mary

The Legion of Mary would like to invite our parish family to take part in the consecration to Jesus through Mary.

What is the consecration? It is a devotion in which the person sets aside time each day for 33 days to pray certain prayers and read devotional reading all focused on how Mary leads us closer to Je-sus.

How much time do I need to devote to this each day? It is advised to set aside a least 15 minutes a day for this devotion.

What do I read and pray? We will be using 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Michael Gaitley as our guidebook.
Why do I need to sign-up to do this? It is always good to have prayer warriors by your side when you are trying a new devotion with the purpose of growing your relationship with Christ. We are your prayer warriors, cheer leaders and trail guides for this devotion. We are praying for you every step of the way. Maria Romine, the President of IHM Legion of Mary, will be sending you about 4 emails just to touch base throughout this devotion.

December 12th (12-12-2020) the Legion will be attending mass and then saying the consecration prayer silently to ourselves after mass. This is the time we would encourage those of you who made the journey to join us. Afterwards, there will be an Advent Breakfast that we hope you register for so that you can be fed spiritually on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

If you wish to sign up for the consecration and/or the Advent Breakfast. There will be sign-up sheets on the table in the Nar-thex.
