Essential Oils

Posted on June 22, 2017 in: General News

Essential Oils were a part of daily living among the Hebrews, Jews and early Christians and their Gentile neighbors throughout the Biblical age. Thirty-six of the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 10 of the 27 books of the New Testament mention essential oils or the plants that produce them.

Did you know there are over 400 references to essen-tial oils and/or the aromatic plants from which they were extracted in the Bible? What do you think people did over 2000 years ago when they got sick? There were no pharmaceuticals like we have now... Remember "conventional" medicine has only been around for a cou-ple of hundred years.

Oils of Ancient Scripture is a class we are offering here at IHM for NO COST, and you’re invited to attend:

Wednesday, July 19, 7-9pm in the Grand Hall
Saturday, July 22, 9-11am in the Grand Hall

You'll love trying the oils and learning what they were used for thousands of years ago and how we still use them today. It’s fun to play with the oils and how they work!
