The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) provides the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. General Parish contact for our Scouting programs at IHM is fellow parishioner Chuck Hinkle, the Charter Organization Representative (COR). If you have a general Scouting question or need general information, Chuck may be contacted at 636-544-6639.
Scouting
BSA programs are divided by age and activity. Two of those programs are in place at IHM, Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA.
Cub Scouts - Pack 856:
Cub Scouting is for boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade , which teaches duty to God, country and service to others. Cub Scouts are divided into dens according to grades. Tigers meet once monthly at a family activity. Wolf, Bear and Webelo meet twice monthly with their respective dens. Pack meetings for all Cub Scouts are on the last Tuesday of the Month. Contact Adam McCarthy, 636-634-7622.
Scouts BSA - Troop 856:
Scouts BSA is open to young men and young women in grades 6 through 12. This group offers an opportunity to learn outdoor skills, such as camping and hiking.
