As we begin the season of Lent we would like to emphasize this season of prayer and healing by inviting you to add your personal prayers to those of the our entire community. Please look for a container on the table in the narthex where you can place your prayer requests. This Lent we ask everyone in our community to pray for all of them. Lent is a special time of the year for us as a community to pray for each other and to prepare ourselves for the Glorious Resurrection.

A little more than a year ago I mentioned the formation of a few new organizations and committees in our parish family. I have not forgotten about the various groups that were brought to my attention last year, but alas - have been lax and inattentive. My hope is to assemble the interested individuals and let them run with the ball. I will do my best to help these groups get rolling.
