One pint of whole blood—the most common form of donation—can save up to three lives. Someone needs blood every two seconds. Less than 10 percent of the eligible U.S. population donates annually. There is no substitute for human blood. One in seven people entering a hospital needs blood. Females receive 53 percent of blood transfusions; males receive 47 percent. Go to Mass every Sunday & Holy Day of Obligation Make more frequent Confessions, at least quarterly. Pray with Sacred Scripture as part of your daily activities. The feast day of the Immaculate Heart, our patroness, is Saturday, June 24, 2017. On that day we will also host the annual Parish Appreciation Dinner and Heart of the Parish Award. A Rosary and procession around the IHM property organized by our Legion of Mary will follow the 4:00 Mass.  All parishioners are invited to the Appreciation Dinner.
