Consecration of our Parish Boundaries on the Feast of Corpus Christi
On Sunday, June 14, on the feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, many of our parishioners took part in “follow the leader”—Christ the Eucharistic Lord—by processing in vehicles to the four corners of our parish boundaries, asking Him to bless and protect our lives and our lands, our parish and our peoples, our boundaries and our businesses, our prayer and our work, all for His glory and for our help. Four stops were made, with Fr. Tom offering brief prayers and then blessing in the direction of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.  Sto...

Prayer Shawls

Posted on May 01, 2020 in: General News

Several IHM parishioners participate in the Corporal Acts of Mercy by creating prayer shawls. These prayer shawls are blessed and stored in the sacristy. If you have a friend or family member in need of tangible emotional or spiritual support because of whatever is going on in their life— grief, a difficult diagnosis, chronic pain, a caregiver, or struggling with spiritual or emotional pain—consider giving them a prayer shawl. You just have to stop by the parish office to request one and they can let you into the sacristy to select one. We do not charge for these shawls, but if you are in a position to make a d...

IHM Vocation Traveling Case

Posted on January 24, 2020 in: General News

IHM Vocation Traveling Case
We recently updated some vocation materials and have collected them in a “traveling case” for families to pray for, support and / or discern their vocational call, whether as married, sacred single, priesthooddiaconate or religious life. We have scheduled 8th grade PSR families to be the first to “travel.” We would like all families to pray for godly vocations in whatever area the Lord prompts someone to follow. We are distributing some Vocation “Table Tents” in the narthex for anyone to pick up to set on the family table or mantle. Tw...
