Missouri Inmates Sew Custom Quilts for Foster Children and they need your donations to do it!

The Knights of Columbus are asking for donations for the Men’s South Central Correctional Center in Licking, MO. As part of their rehabilitation, the men are taught to make quilts and are in need of donations of material, yarn, thread, polyfill and batting. The men design the quilts, with individual children in mind, embroidering their first names on the corner. Once finished, each quilt is packaged with a handmade hat, along with school supplies and toiletries donated by other inmates at South Central. If you would be willing to donate and help these men with their rehabilitation, please bring your donation to a bin in the narthex or contact Mary Leeker at 314-303-9884 or
